W. Bruce Kippen

Bruce received his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of McGill. He served in World War Two as a R.C.A.F. Pilot Officer. He was President of Petrokipp Capital Corp. He is the Past President of and has been the senior executive of numerous energy related companies. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kippen and Co., an investment firm. He has had past affiliations with The Montreal Stock Exchange, The Toronto Stock Exchange, The Canadian Stock Exchange (Governor 1962 – 1963), The Midwest (Chicago) Stock Exchange, and the Investment Dealers Association of Canada. He was Governor of the Montreal YMCA from 1965 to 1969. He is a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal. He was a co-founder of the Canada Committee 1964 (the initial name of the Canadian Unity Council), and was an Honorary Governor of The Council For Canadian Unity and The Canadian Unity Council. He is currently a member of The Historica Foundation’s Advisory Board and is a co-founder of the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation.
