Need Financial Assistance?
The registration fee for attending the Encounter With Canada program is $625.
In the near future, The Encounters With Canada Support Foundation plans to subsidize Encounters With Canada participants' registration fees from the Foundation's fundraising initiatives and from the income earned from its endowment portfolio. However, at this point in time, we have limited our support to purchasing Olympic clothing and other Olympic paraphernalia for those EWC participants who are going to the Olympics and the Paralympics.
Nevertheless, if you and your family would like financial assistance to pay that fee, the Foundation has researched possible sources of financial assistance for you, some of which have been very helpful to EWC participants in the past. The Foundation strongly recommends that you do one or more of the following:
- Contact your school officials including your school Principal, Student Council President, District Superintendent, or the Chairperson of the School District Board of Directors. Many schools and school districts financially support EWC Students.
- Contact your local service organization. For your convenience, we have listed a number of service organizations and their web links below. Many of the branches and clubs within these service organizations have helped EWC students in the past.

Your letter should include a reference letter from a school official confirming your application to the EWC program
