To accommodate your donation wishes better, please complete all applicable sections of ‘The Encounters With Canada Foundation Contribution Form’ when making a contribution.  For Gifts in Kind or Securities, please contact our office directly.  Tax receipts will be given for gifts of $25 or more.

Appreciation and Recognition

1. Friend of the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation
   A Friend of the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation recognition is given in appreciation to individuals, couples or businesses who have contributed a minimum of $100.00 to the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation.  The recognition consists being listed as Friend of the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation on our website.
2. Sustaining Friend of Encounters With Canada Support Foundation
   A Sustaining Friend of the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation recognition is given in appreciation to individuals, couples or businesses who have contributed $100.00 to the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation in the last twelve months.  The recognition consists being listed as Sustaining Friend of the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation on our website.
3. Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Patron
   An Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Patron recognition is given in appreciation to individuals, couples or businesses who contribute, outright or cumulatively – or in whose name is contributed – a gift of $1,000 or more to the Foundation.  The recognition consists of a distinctive commemorative pin and a certificate of appreciation citing the ‘Patron’ designation.  The recognition also includes being listed as an Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Patron on our website.
4. Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Multiple Donor
   An Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Multiple Donor recognition is extended at subsequent $1,000 levels (e.g., $2,000, $3,000). The recognition consists of a certificate of appreciation citing the ‘Multiple’ designation and its level; for example, ‘Multiple Donor – Level Three’.  The recognition also includes being listed as an Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Multiple Donor on our website.
5. Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Major Donor
   The Foundation recognizes those individuals, couples or businesses whose combined giving has reached $10,000, regardless of the gift designation.  The recognition consists of a certificate of appreciation citing the ‘Major Donor’ designation. The recognition also includes being listed as an Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Major Donor on our website.
6. Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Benefactor
   An Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Benefactor is someone who informs the Foundation in writing that he or she has made a provision in his/her estate plan for The Encounters With Canada Support Foundation to receive an outright gift of $1,000 or more to one of the Permanent Endowment Funds. The recognition consists of a certificate of appreciation citing the ‘Benefactor’ designation.  The recognition also includes being listed as an Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Benefactor on our website.
7. Bequest Society Membership
   The Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Bequest Society Membership is extended to and recognizes those couples or individuals who inform the Foundation in writing that he or she has made a provision in his/her estate plan for The Encounters With Canada Support Foundation to receive an outright gift of $10,000 or more to one of the Permanent Endowment Funds. The recognition consists of a certificate of appreciation citing the ‘Bequest Society Membership’ designation. The recognition also includes being listed as an Encounters With Canada Support Foundation Bequest Society Member on our website.
8. Named Funds
   Donors who make an outright donation of $10,000 or more to the Encounters With Canada Support Foundation as a permanent endowment have the right to create an approved segregated Permanent Endowment Fund named after the donor, donating couple or company.  Recognition of this donation and subsequent donations will include, in addition to the above, the named fund being listed with the other named permanent endowment funds.  The recognition also includes being listed as a Named Permanent Endowment Fund of Encounters With Canada Support Foundation on our website.
