I donated to The Encounters With Canada Support Foundation for two reasons.  My father has been a volunteer with Encounters With Canada for twenty years and I wanted to support the organization that will help ensure EWC's survival.  Secondly, as a past participant, I wanted other teens to enjoy the terrific experience that I had.
